Music and dance are inseparable from each other and are above all a popular form of entertainment practiced throughout the year at holidays and festivities.

Traditional dance was a very important leisure which was practiced during all of one's lifetime. In those days people only travelled to places within walking distance. They were relatively isolated from external influences and were not inclined to integrate foreign art forms.

Those people will remodel foreign dances based on their own experience and past. Over the years, all these factors will contribute to create distinctive regional styles and forms of dancing.

Rondos, branles, bourrées, polkas, mazurkas and scottishes are executed to the sound of traditional instruments and will make you spend a moment of conviviality in an atmosphere of merriness and joy.

- Duration of the dance : approximately 2 ½ hours
- Initiation to dancing with a dance leader during the ball
- Possibility of dancing workshops prior to the ball
